Overview

Acoustic Scanner is a software of Acoustic Holography to identify and locate noise sources by reconstruction of 3D fields from measurement data captured by microphone array.

Acoustic Scanner is a useful tool for noise control engineering, especially for automobile industry to help manufacturers improve their products.

Acoustic Scanner processes data captured by using multi-reference, scan-based procedure. It includes the techniques of compensation for source nonstationarity, Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Coherence Spectrum Analysis (CSA).

Acoustic Scanner provides users with techniques advanced wave-number processing (expert system, regularization).

Acoustic Scanner provides a user-friendly tool to visualise the sound pressure, velocity, sound intensity and kinetic and potential energies.

Acoustic Scanner provides an open system to make it possible for users to run their-own programs.

Acoustic Scanner provides users to export figures in the formats of enhanced metafile (*.emf), JPEG file (*.jpg), Bitmap file (*.bmp).

Acoustic Scanner allows users to export user-selected-acoustic quantity to a mat-file that can be loaded in MATLAB®.
